RESTORATION OF BUILDINGS

At the Technical Renovation Company RAPO.GR, one of the most basic services we offer is the restoration of buildings, in the city of Thessaloniki as well as in all of Northern Greece.

In recent years we have managed to restore hundreds of buildings, such as residences, country houses, etc., offering them a renewed look and making them more friendly to the environment, as well as to their occupants.

For the specific projects, special permits are issued by our office, which allow us to carry out the works that are required by the Law, while at the same time we take all the necessary safety measures, both for the safe passage of passers-by, and for the protection of workers in the building.

In detail, the restoration works and the methodology of our company are the following:

1. Scrubbing of the oxidized reinforcement with a wire brush, with emphasis on removal of the rust.
2. Coating of the reinforcement with a special anti-rust paint of Resisystem type in two coats.
3. Coating with resin cement mortar to protect the reinforcement from corrosion and to provide an adhesive layer between the old and new concrete or Ferroseal mortar.
4. Coverage of the reinforcement with a special Planfix repair mortar.
5. Restoration of the coatings that have been removed:
   Ready-mixed Unicret mortar by Isomat will be used, as it is suitable for this type of restoration, to which the building resin Asoplast will be added, for the reinforcement of the ready-mixed mortar.
6. Restoration of the concrete sections that have been detached:
   After the loose parts of the concrete have been thoroughly cleaned and removed, the resin cement mortar Durocret by Isomat will be used, to refill the gaps that have been created.
7. Application of primer-paint (2 coats) on the eaves and ceilings, with high quality cement paints by BENJAMIN MOORE VIVECHROM or KRAFT.
